My Portfolio
Digitaly Viewed Content
As the advisor for the Goodland High School Media Club, I spent many years developing engaging social media content that was both visually compelling and informative. Working alongside students, I guided the creation of digital graphics designed to promote school events, celebrate achievements, and communicate important information across a variety of electronic platforms. Through this work, I developed a strong understanding of visual storytelling, audience engagement, and designing content that captures attention while delivering clear, effective messaging.

Video Media Production
Video production has been a cornerstone of my work for more than 16 years, combining technical expertise with creative storytelling. I have produced and directed hundreds of live-streamed events while collaborating with students to create engaging educational, promotional, and informational videos. In addition, I have developed a wide range of software tutorials and instructional content designed to support professional learning and technology adoption. From pre-production planning and filming to editing and live event management, I bring a comprehensive understanding of the video production process and a commitment to creating polished, engaging content.

Prior to the Covid Pandemic, USD 352 was promoting project based learning and our desire to be a part of the Apollo project. It was my job to lead a team of students in the creation of a social media campaign to inform the community.
During Covid I coordinated a campaign to promote the community proposition to build the new Topside Manor. I provided a campaign plan as well as produced videos with the community leaders and my students.
In the course of my time as a graphic design educator I have created a number of detailed tutorials for students. These both needed to be at their learning level and rigorous at the same time.
Physical Print Media
My experience extends beyond digital graphic design into the full production of professional print media and fabricated products. I have extensive knowledge of preparing artwork for a variety of print and manufacturing processes, ensuring designs are optimized for quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Throughout my career, I have worked with large-format printers, laser engraving systems, 3D printers, commercial printing presses, and CAD vinyl cutting equipment to produce everything from signage and promotional materials to custom displays, educational resources, and prototypes. This hands-on production experience allows me to bridge creative design with technical execution, delivering polished, production-ready solutions from concept to completion.

Presentation Experience
As Technology Integration Specialist, I designed and delivered clean, engaging, and easy-to-follow professional development presentations that helped educators confidently integrate technology into their daily instruction. These presentations covered a wide range of commonly used district software and digital tools, providing practical, hands-on guidance for both new and returning teachers.
Each presentation was intentionally structured with clear visual design, concise messaging, and real-world classroom applications to maximize engagement and knowledge retention. By focusing on clarity, accessibility, and actionable content, I helped educators build confidence with technology while supporting district initiatives and improving instructional effectiveness.
As a presenter at the Midwest Association for Computers in Education (MACE) Conference in Manhattan, Kansas, I developed and delivered professional presentations focused on the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in education. These sessions were designed to help educators better understand AI technologies, explore practical classroom applications, and thoughtfully consider the ethical and instructional implications of this rapidly evolving field.
Presenting to an audience of educational professionals required balancing technical expertise with clear, engaging communication. Each presentation incorporated clean visual design, purposeful storytelling, and interactive demonstrations to make complex concepts accessible and actionable. By combining professional presentation design with relevant, real-world examples, I equipped educators with practical strategies they could confidently implement in their own schools and classrooms.
